DSWD through the Disaster Response Management Group enjoined to participate in the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council’s (NDRRMC) conduct of the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2020 earlier today, September 10, 2020.
Secretary Rolando D. Bautista together with Undersecretary Felicisimo C. Budiongan and Director Clifford Cyril Y. Riveral, participated during the online ceremonial pressing of the button that initiated the nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill.
DSWD officials and employees actively participated during the earthquake drill to raise awareness and preparedness in times of disasters.
Secretary Bautista reminded the public to observe proper safety protocols during the earthquake drill, such as duck, cover, and hold.
